The Conversion Flying Course is designed for pilots holding a foreign pilot license who wish to convert their license to meet the standards set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India. This course provides comprehensive training and guidance to ensure that all required flying hours, exams, and skill tests are completed successfully. Our team of experienced instructors will guide you through the necessary steps, ensuring a smooth transition to meet the DGCA requirements.
Must hold a valid and current foreign pilot license equivalent to an Indian CPL (Commercial Pilot License) or higher.
DGCA Class 1 medical certificate.
Minimum of 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent.
Must meet ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) standards.
A specified number of flying hours as per DGCA regulations.
All relevant documents, including logbook, license, and medicals, must be submitted for verification.
Candidates must clear the DGCA conversion exams, which may include subjects like Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations, and Technical General/Specific.
Candidates must complete the necessary flying hours as prescribed by DGCA, which may include cross-country flying, night flying, and instrument flying.
Specific hours of dual (instructor-led) and solo flying must be completed.
Some portions of the flying requirements may be completed using an approved flight simulator.
