ATR Type Rating
The ATR Type Rating course is designed for pilots who aim to specialize in flying ATR aircraft, specifically the ATR 42 and ATR 72 models. This program provides comprehensive training that covers the technical and operational aspects of the aircraft, ensuring that pilots are fully equipped to operate these turboprop planes safely and efficiently.
Detailed classroom instruction on ATR systems, performance, and operational procedures.
Realistic flight simulator sessions that replicate various flight scenarios, including normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Practical experience flying the ATR under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Familiarization with the airline’s SOPs for ATR aircraft, ensuring smooth and standardized operations.

Pilots must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by a recognized aviation authority.
An active Instrument Rating (IR) is mandatory to enroll in the ATR Type Rating course.
A valid Class 1 medical certificate is required.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, as it is the standard language for aviation communication.
Multi engine experience is recommended but not mandatory.
